Softball Recap: Nova Takes a Loss

Nova came into this matchup off a tough nine-run defeat last Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Flanagan Falcons by a score of 14-12 on Tuesday. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Aniya Williams was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-5 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three RBI. Ariana Figueroa was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Nova's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Flanagan, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Nova will welcome South Broward at 6:30 p.m. on March 4th. As for Flanagan, they have already played their next match, a 9-7 loss against McArthur on the 27th.
