Lawrence County extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 11-9 in the process. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Zion Christian Academy Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since April 1st.

As for Zion Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by just one run.

For Zion Christian Academy's part, Leighla Rains made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Coming up, Lawrence County is taking a road trip to take on Loretto at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Zion Christian Academy, they will host Riverside Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
