Soccer Recap: Melrose Comes Up Short

Melrose lost against Craigmont back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Golden Wildcats came up short against the Chiefs, falling 7-0.

Melrose's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Craigmont, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Melrose will host Overton at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Overton will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Melrose surely won't give up without a fight. As for Craigmont, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Power Center Academy at 5:00 p.m.
