Volleyball Recap: Fremd Now 13-2 over Last 15 Games

Fremd won the last time they faced Lake Zurich and things went their way on Monday too. The Vikings came out on top against the Bears by a score of 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19.

Malia McManus and Emme Lawrence certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. McManus had nine digs, while Lawrence had four digs and two aces. Ella Elsen also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Fremd is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for Lake Zurich, their loss dropped their record down to 11-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Fremd will challenge Hersey at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Zurich, they will take on Zion-Benton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
