Baseball Recap: Wilton Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Wilton's offense. They came up short against the Westhill Vikings on Tuesday, falling 7-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Wilton's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Westhill, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilton will venture away from home to face off against Norwalk at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Westhill, they will head out to challenge Weston at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
