Baseball Recap: Bonneville Takes a Loss

Bonneville lost against Clearfield last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lakers took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jaygen Noble made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

Bonneville now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Clearfield, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bonneville will take on Woods Cross at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lakers will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games. As for Clearfield, they will challenge Viewmont at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season.
