Preview: Sheridan vs. Jefferson
Sheridan will be playing at home against Jefferson at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Sheridan come in off of seven low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
Things haven't been easy for Sheridan, and their contest last Friday only extended their streak of losses to seven. They suffered a grim 6-33 defeat to Platte Canyon last Friday. The state rankings had actually given Sheridan a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, Jefferson have to be hurting after a devastating 18-40 loss at the hands of Manual. This makes it the second loss in a row for Jefferson.
Sheridan took their match against Jefferson the last time the two teams met by a conclusive 37-8 score. Will Sheridan repeat their success, or does Jefferson have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
