Anderson has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 9. Neither they nor the West Valley Eagles could gain the upper hand on Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw. The win was some much needed relief for the Cubs as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Anderson's lineup was just a bit different on Tuesday as William Cuellar got a bit more time on the pitch (50 vs. his season average of 26.5). Cuellar made the most of the opportunity, putting up one assist and two steals A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.

With that draw, Anderson's record moves to 4-7-2. Meanwhile, West Valley's record is now 2-7-1.

Anderson has already played their next match, a 2-2 draw against Lassen on the 16th. As for West Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 6-0 defeat against University Prep on the 16th.
