Football Recap: Oakton Cougars vs. Centreville Wildcats
Friday just wasn't the day for Oakton's offense. They fell 7-0 to the Centreville Wildcats on Friday. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Oakton now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Centreville, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oakton will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Potomac at 7:00 p.m. on October 10th. As for Centreville, they will venture away from home to challenge Yorktown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
