Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Southern Lee walked away with it. They blew past the Fike Demons 87-57 on Friday. The Cavaliers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 20 points or more this season.

The victory (which was Southern Lee's fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-3. As for Fike, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-10 record this season.

Southern Lee will square off against Swansboro at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Swansboro's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Fike does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
