Basketball Recap: Summit Charter Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Summit Charter had lost four straight headed into Wednesday's match, but Chance Wilson didn't let it get to five. The Summit Charter Bears enjoyed a cozy 67-50 win over the Shining Rock Classical Academy Falcons on Wednesday thanks in part to Wilson, who went 8 for 10 from beyond the arc on his way to 34 points and seven boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Summit Charter's points.

Shining Rock Classical Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Hudson Moody, who posted 18 points. The contest was Moody's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Oliver Kalra, who put up 12 points.

Summit Charter's victory bumped their record up to 2-10. As for Shining Rock Classical Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

Summit Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 73-52 loss against Invest Collegiate Imagine on the 23rd. Shining Rock Classical Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
