On Friday, Clarksburg took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 62-33 win over Quince Orchard. Given Clarksburg's advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 34th, while Quince Orchard is ranked 172nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Seneca Valley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mina Hashemzadeh out in front who scored ten points along with seven assists and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nia Hall, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Clarksburg pushed their record up to 15-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Seneca Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.
Clarksburg was able to grind out a solid victory over Seneca Valley when the teams last played back in January, winning 61-48. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clarksburg since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
