Volleyball Recap: St. Mary's Dominican Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

With a playoff win on the line, St. Mary's Dominican rose to the challenge on Thursday. They blew past the Fontainebleau Bulldogs 3-0. The victory was nothing new for St. Mary's Dominican as they're now sitting on three straight.

St. Mary's Dominican's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mallie Mahoney, who hit 66.7% for eight kills and 23 digs and three aces. The last time Mahoney's hitting percentage was this high was back in October.

St. Mary's Dominican's victory bumped their record up to 39-5. As for Fontainebleau, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 29-17 record.

St. Mary's Dominican has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against St. Joseph's Academy on the 14th. Fontainebleau does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
