Basketball Recap: Lewisburg Takes a Loss

Lewisburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 44-20 to the Lafayette Commodores. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-6.

Cheyenne Outlaw was Lewisburg's leading scorer, having posted five points.

Lewisburg's record now sits at 3-23. As for Lafayette, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewisburg will host Horn Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lafayette, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Corinth at 6:00 p.m.
