Basketball Recap: Calvary Christian Comes Up Short

Calvary Christian played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Troy Christian Eagles, falling 64-26. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-12.

Calvary Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Evan Schmidt, who posted seven points and seven boards.

Calvary Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. Troy Christian pushed their record up to 13-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
