Basketball Recap: Charles City Takes a Loss

Charles City played a tough contest on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Grundy Center Spartans 83-38. The game marked the Comets' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Charles City now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Grundy Center, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Charles City won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against New Hampton at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Grundy Center and East Marshall will compete for holiday cheer at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
