Lima Senior's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They claimed a resounding 53-9 victory over the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

Lima Senior is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.1 points per game. As for Lima Central Catholic, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lima Senior will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Marion Harding at 1:15 p.m. on February 8th.
