Basketball Recap: Little Axe Comes Up Short

Little Axe lost against Davis on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Little Axe Indians might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 50-34 to the Davis Wolves, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Little Axe's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Davis, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Little Axe will venture away from home to face off against Lexington at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Davis, they and Wayne will meet in a canine-themed contest at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Davis is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
