Softball Recap: MacArthur Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact MacArthur can now relate to. They came up short against the Burbank Bulldogs on Thursday, falling 14-2. The Brahmas were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Sienna Richmond was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

This is the second loss in a row for MacArthur and nudges their season record down to 13-12-1. As for Burbank, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: MacArthur beat the Bulldogs by a score of 10-8 on Friday.
