Softball Recap: Pajaro Valley Comes Up Short

Pajaro Valley lost against Monte Vista Christian back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Grizzlies lost 17-1 to the Mustangs. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pajaro Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hemeria Delatorre, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Pajaro Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Monte Vista Christian, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pajaro Valley will venture away from home to take on Santa Catalina at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Monte Vista Christian, they will head out to face off against Stevenson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Mustangs are facing the Pirates at the right time seeing as the Pirates are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
