The Badger Badgers will face off against the Mukwonago Indians at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Badger's offense. They came up short against Waterford on Tuesday, falling 6-0. While losing is never fun, Badger can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 95th, while Waterford are ranked 14th).

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous four match, Mukwonago brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over Catholic Memorial on Tuesday. That looming 5-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Mukwonago yet this season.

They hit Catholic Memorial with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ella Maltby (2), Stella Kertscher, Maddy Basten, and Paisley McKenzie.

Mukwonago's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3-1 and their overall record up to 3-5-3. As for Badger, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7-1 record this season.
