Football Game Preview: Armada Tigers vs. North Branch Broncos

The Armada Tigers will head out to challenge the North Branch Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Armada is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Almont on Friday. The Tigers lost 35-14 to the Raiders. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Jackson Malburg, who rushed for 104 yards and one TD. Cole Wyatt also helped out with an impressive 85 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, North Branch didn't have quite enough to beat Yale on Friday and fell 24-21.

North Branch's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Armada, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.

Armada was able to grind out a solid victory over North Branch in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 31-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
