Baseball Recap: Mounds Park Academy Panthers vs. St. Agnes Aggies
Mounds Park Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 17-2 to the St. Agnes Aggies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Mounds Park Academy of the 7-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2023.
Mounds Park Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colin Fike, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayden Gausman, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
