Burley won the last time they faced Minico and things went their way on Monday too. The Bobcats blew past the Spartans 13-3. With that victory, the Bobcats brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Burley let Sayge Gerratt and Katelyn Hege run wild. Gerratt went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base, while Hege went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Those two doubles gave Gerratt a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brooke Mabey, who went 1-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Burley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.

Burley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-7.
