Bishop had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the San Dieguito Academy Mustangs 3-0 on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Bishop's walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-15, 25-21, 25-16.

Bishop's found their leader in freshman Bex Keller-Carroll, who had 27 assists and three digs. Keller-Carroll has been hot recently, having posted 24 or more assists the last three times he's played.

When it comes to explaining why San Dieguito Academy lost, don't look at Trevor Anderson. Despite the final result, he had six digs and one block.

Bishop's win bumped their record up to 36-3. As for San Dieguito Academy, they moved to 33-7 with that defeat, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

Coincidentally, Bishop's and San Dieguito Academy will both be playing La Costa Canyon the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will host the Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Knights will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
