Softball Recap: West Union's Loss Ends 11-Game Winning Streak at Home

West Union and Myrtle squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but West Union had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 3-2. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

West Union's defeat ended an 11-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 21-11. As for Myrtle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-6 record this season.

West Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Myrtle, they will square off against Stringer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Red Devils will roll in looking for their 19th straight win, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
