Basketball Recap: Bellingham Comes Up Short

Bellingham and Norwell squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Bellingham had to settle for second. They received a blow as they fell 57-40 to the Norwell Clippers. While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 74th, while the Clippers are ranked seventh).

Bellingham has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season. The win was the 11th in a row for Norwell, bringing their record for this year to 13-1.

As of now, neither Bellingham nor Norwell have any future games scheduled.
