Mt. Vernon will bounce into Tuesday's game after beating Woodlawn, who they hadn't topped in nine consecutive meetings. Mt. Vernon came out on top against Woodlawn by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Rams as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
