It was a good run, but Yutan unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 53-52 to the Arlington Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Chieftains this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 41-34 back in December of 2024.

Arlington was led to victory by Emerson Timm and Britt Nielsen. Timm almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine assists, while Nielsen went 7 of 12 on her way to 18 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Hailey O'Daniel, who posted eight points and seven boards.

Yutan's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Arlington, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yutan has already played their next match (against Louisville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Arlington has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Fort Calhoun.
