Recap: Lone Peak Knights vs. Skyridge Falcons

The Lone Peak Knights entered their tilt with the Skyridge Falcons with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Lone Peak came out on top in a nail-biter against Skyridge on Tuesday and snuck past 70-68. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.

Lone Peak's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Thomsen Kramer, who scored 20 points along with seven assists. Jackson Taylor was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.

Skyridge's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordan Kohler, who scored 22 points along with nine rebounds. Kohler has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. American Fork has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 265 points over their last four contests. As for Skyridge, they will be playing at home against Lehi at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lehi presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Skyridge in Utah (Lehi is ranked third, while Skyridge is ranked 51st).
