Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Pope John Paul II walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the Holy Savior Menard Eagles a 3-0 shutout on Wednesday. Considering the Jaguars have won seven matchups by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Pope John Paul II has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for Holy Savior Menard, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.
