Basketball Recap: Glenn Hills Comes Up Short

Glenn Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Butler Bulldogs 96-16. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-8.

Brayla Harris continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Butler, going 12 of 17 on her way to 28 points and seven steals. That's the most steals Harris has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Paris Floyd, who went 5 for 7 en route to 10 points along with eight assists and eight steals.

Glenn Hills' loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Butler, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Glenn Hills will challenge Butler at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Butler is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.1 points per game this season. They have already played their next matchup, a 46-42 defeat against Thomson on the 27th.
