Mobile Christian's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Smiths Station Panthers 9-1. The Leopards might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

Karsyn Grantham was a standout: she scored two runs while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Hailey Padgett, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Mobile Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The win got Mobile Christian back to even at 10-10-1. As for Smiths Station, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14-1.

Coming up, Mobile Christian will head out on the road to face off against Satsuma at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Smiths Station has already played their next matchup (against Saraland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
