Springbrook and Whitman squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Springbrook had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Whitman Vikings by a score of 61-58. The Blue Devils' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Titian DeRosa had an outrageously good game for Whitman as he shot 64% from the field on his way to 26 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave DeRosa a new career-high in points. Sean Curran was another key player, putting up nine points.

Springbrook's loss dropped their record down to 20-5. As for Whitman, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Springbrook nor Whitman have any future games scheduled.
