Softball Recap: Chapel Hill Comes Up Short on the Road Against Alexander

Chapel Hill had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Alexander Cougars, falling 16-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Chapel Hill saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayda Young, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Looking ahead, Chapel Hill will head out to square off against Temple at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alexander, they will take on Kennesaw Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Cougars' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
