Encina posted their biggest victory since February 12, 2024 on Tuesday. They blew past the Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning Fire Wolves 66-26. With the Bulldogs ahead 32-10 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Encina to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jalani Draper, who posted 13 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Daylin Tucker, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 13 points and three steals.

Encina was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win made it two in a row for Encina and bumps their season record up to 4-7. As for Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Encina will take on Foresthill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning, they will venture away from home to challenge Forest Lake Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Forest Lake Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.5 points per game this season.
