There's no place like home for Southwest Legacy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Southside Cardinals on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Titans: when they faced off against the Cardinals back in February, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Aiden Garcia made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed seven innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Garcia was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Jeremy Saucedo was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).

Southwest Legacy's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-10. As for Southside, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-9.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Southwest Legacy will challenge rival South San Antonio at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Southside is set to square off against their familiar foe McCollum at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
