Football Recap: San Luis Obispo Classical Academy Takes a Loss

San Luis Obispo Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 67-6 loss at the hands of the Valley Christian Academy Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Grizzlies of the 63-16 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

San Luis Obispo Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Valley Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, San Luis Obispo Classical Academy will welcome Cuyama Valley at 6:00 p.m. on October 3. The Grizzlies will be up against the Bears' rather soft defense (which has allowed 26.25 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Valley Christian Academy, they will take on Coastal Christian at 6:00 p.m. on October 4.
