Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sonoma Valley). They enjoyed a cozy 79-63 win over the Justin-Siena Braves on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Dragons: when they faced off against the Braves back in January, they had to take a 51-50 loss.

Hudson Giarritta was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 26 points and 14 boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Vinny Girish, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Sonoma Valley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 12 consecutive matchups.

Sonoma Valley's record is now 12-13. As for Justin-Siena, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

Sonoma Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 73-42 victory against Napa on the 8th. As for Justin-Siena, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 66-47 loss against American Canyon on the 8th.
