Softball Preview: Fort Frye Cadets vs. Frontier Cougars
The Fort Frye Cadets will head out on the road to face off against the Frontier Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Frye will be strutting in after a victory while Frontier will be coming in after a defeat.
Fort Frye took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Warren. Considering the Cadets have won four games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
The result came thanks to Elle Casto's shutout, as she gave up just seven hits.

On the hitting side, Taylor Hendershot was excellent, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.

The Cougars wound up with the same score they had in their last game (1-0), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. The contest marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.
Having lost for the first time this season, Frontier fell to 12-1. As for Fort Frye, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
