Basketball Recap: El Capitan/Centennial Academy vs. St. Michael Cardinals

El Capitan/Centennial Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 49 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 54-42 win over St. Michael.

El Capitan/Centennial Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Monte Hammon, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Hammon also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Jairus Hammon, who scored 18 points along with four steals.
