Basketball Recap: Zion Clark Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat East Clarendon

Branchville saw some tournament action on Monday. They came out on top against the East Clarendon Wolverines by a score of 63-50. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellow Jackets.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Branchville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zion Clark, who went 7-for-14 en route to 21 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Javon Williams, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 12 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals.

Branchville has also opened the season with a perfect 2-0 record.

Coming up, Branchville and Ragin Prep Christian Academy will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest, having both just played. As for East Clarendon, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Scott's Branch at 8:00 p.m. on Monday.
