Torrey Pines is ranked highly in their home state and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Prairie. Torrey Pines walked away with a 2-0 victory over Prairie. Winning may never get old, but Torrey Pines sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Finley Krystkowiak paced Torrey Pines' offense, picking up six kills. Krystkowiak got some help from Emery Gonzales and her 21 assists. Krystkowiak was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Torrey Pines' win bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Prairie, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-1.

Coincidentally, Torrey Pines and Prairie will both be playing West Ranch the next time they take the court. Prairie will head out to face West Ranch at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, while Torrey Pines will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
