Basketball Game Preview: St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs vs. Living Word Lutheran Timberwolves + How To Watch

The St. Mary Catholic Zephyrs will head out to take on the Living Word Lutheran Timberwolves at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Monday, St. Mary Catholic didn't have too much trouble with Wrightstown as they won 65-46. The Zephyrs' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Autumn Crowe had an outrageously good game as she dropped a double-double with 30 points and 23 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Gabby Guerrero, who posted 11 points and seven steals.

Meanwhile, Living Word Lutheran took care of business in their home opener (and then some) last Saturday. They breezed past University School of Milwaukee to the tune of 68-29. The Timberwolves haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Living Word Lutheran's win came from a few key players St. Mary Catholic will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Eden Raymond, who shot 57% from the field to rack up 20 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kaleah Alles, who went 8-for-17 on her way to 20 points and six assists.

Living Word Lutheran smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 21 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
