Baseball Game Preview: Collingswood Panthers vs. Haddon Heights Garnets

For the second straight game, Collingswood will face off against Haddon Heights. The Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Garnets at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Collingswood is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.

Collingswood will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Haddon Heights, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Panthers skirted past the Garnets 5-4.

Collingswood saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Ladik, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Ben Auerbach also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Collingswood's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Haddon Heights, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2.
