Recap: Vidor Pirates vs. Livingston Lions
The Vidor Pirates had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Livingston by a score of 31-21 on Friday. The win was just what Vidor needed coming off of a 54-28 defeat in their prior matchup.
Vidor's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Livingston, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Vidor will take on Hargrave at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hargrave is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Livingston, they will be playing at home against Splendora at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Splendora has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since August 25th.
