The Warren Lumberjacks will head out to take on the Star City Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Warren is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Warren not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 13th. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Watson Chapel an 11-0 shutout. The Lumberjacks haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The team relied heavily on Kolby Pope, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Antonio Jordan was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 17 runs the game before, Star City was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell just short of Crossett by a score of 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Bulldogs have suffered since March 20th.

Star City's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Warren, their victory bumped their record up to 13-4.

Warren beat Star City 5-2 in their previous matchup on April 1st. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lumberjacks since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
