Volleyball Recap: Salem Hills Extends Winning Streak to Three

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Salem Hills walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Kearns Cougars on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Skyhawks, who have now won three games in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-10, 25-19.

Tanner Huff paced Salem Hills' offense, picking up nine kills. Huff got some help from Tanner Sparks and his 17 assists. Preston Taylor controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Salem Hills' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. As for Kearns, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Looking ahead, Salem Hills will face off against Brighton at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Kearns does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
