Softball Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

Eastern came into this matchup off a tough 13-run loss on Wednesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the New Washington Mustangs by a score of 8-6 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Musketeers have suffered since April 16, 2025.

Alyssa Calloway and Ivy Dixon did some serious damage despite the final result: Calloway went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one run, while Dixon went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple. Another player making a difference was Addison Heath, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.
