Volleyball Game Preview: Our Lady Academy Crescents vs. Ocean Springs Greyhounds

Our Lady Academy and Ocean Springs are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2017, but not for long. The Crescents will venture away from home to take on the Greyhounds at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Our Lady Academy will be looking to extend their current 20-game winning streak.

If West Harrison wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Our Lady Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Myah Favre. The Crescents put the hurt on the Hurricanes with a sharp 3-0 win on Thursday for which the team can thank Favre, who hit 72% for 19 kills and six digs, three aces, and two blocks. She has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last 82 times she's played.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-13, 25-18.

Biloxi typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Ocean Springs proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Indians.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-21, 25-12.

Our Lady Academy's record now sits at 35-3. As for Ocean Springs, their record is now 34-5.

Our Lady Academy couldn't quite get it done against Ocean Springs in their previous meeting back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Crescents avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
